Religious heritage in the park

The Gruyère Pays-d’Enhaut Regional Nature Park is home to many unique and remarkable examples of sacred heritage. Its territory is clearly divided into two geographical areas: Gruyère, which remained Catholic, and the Vaud and Bernese regions, which embraced the Protestant Reformation.
